Focal's Spirit One S headphones really ought to cost more. They're a significant improvement over the previous model, yet cost less. In fact, Focal even borrowed from their highly regarded Spirit Classic and Professional headphones to design the Spirit One S. Better on-the-go sound
These headphones were designed for mobile use, which is how most of us listen these days. The closed-back, over-the-ear design is great for blocking out street noise or chatter on the train. Because these headphones can't keep all the noise out, Focal enhanced the bass response for more low-frequency presence and punch when listening in noisy environments. In addition, the 40mm Mylar and titanium drivers have been tweaked for even better midrange and high-frequency sound than the originals. All your music will sound fresher and more detailed throughout the frequency band.
Improved comfort and durability
You're not going to walk around all day wearing uncomfortable headphones. So Focal made the Spirit One S's earcups slightly larger, for a more relaxed fit. Memory foam earpads provide a luxurious feel, while the solid construction ensures these headphones aren't nearly as delicate as they feel on your head. Even though they're built to last, the Spirit One S headphones are lightweight, so you never feel like you're wearing a miner's helmet.
Remote/mic cable and other accessories
